Personal information is processed for the purposes of:

  • prospecting for new work

  • planning, delivering and administering a contract for services

  • analysing and improving the quality and effectiveness of website content

The lawful basis for processing data under GDPR is:

  • Article 6 (b) Contract: the processing is necessary for a contract you have with the individual, or because they have asked you to take specific steps before entering into a contract.

  • Business-to-business prospecting for work is Article 6 (f) Legitimate Interests

  • Email updates and news are under Article 6(a) Consent.

Personal information will be shared with:

  • IT service providers for routine business activities such as email, CRM, accountancy systems, website hosting and backups.

  • Professional service providers such as banks, accountants and other business support professionals

  • Statutory bodies, such as Companies house and HMRC.

  • Associate independent consultants where needed to support the delivery of negotiation of a contract for service and only under a written Data Processing Agreement.

Personal information will be retained for:

In line with the Limitation Act Section 5 - company records are kept for the period of any contract plus 6 years.

The GDPR provides rights for individuals that may apply to our data processing:

  1. The right to be informed - this notice will be updated to always provide current information on personal data processing.

  2. The right of access - you can request a copy of the personal data that we hold about you.

  3. The right to rectification - if there is an error in the data that we hold about you can ask us to correct it.

  4. The right to erasure - you can request that we delete any information that we hold about you. We sill do this where there is no other legal requirement to retain that information.

  5. The right to restrict processing - you can ask to limit how we process your personal information, which we will honour unless there are overriding legal requirements for the processing.

  6. The right to object - if you object to how we are processing your personal information you can raise this and we will consider that objection.

Removing consent

Where you have provided explicit consent for some processing (e.g. signing up to a newsletter) you can withdraw this at any time.
